Chiropractic Adjustment

The Chiropractic adjustment is a unique process used to help uncover the source of a person’s pain and isolate the problem. When you go into a Chiropractor, you may find that a Chiropractor uses different tools and techniques to help get the job done. Through our advanced training and understanding of human anatomy, physiology and neurology our goal is to accurately detect and correct interferences within the human nervous system. These interferences are known as chiropractic subluxations which can have a profound effect on health if left uncorrected over time.

At the same time, we pride ourselves on educating you on how to maintain your corrections so the chances of the pain coming back are remote. Doing these exercises is not a substitution for chiropractic care, but we hope that checking out these videos will help you discover concepts and strategies to help you hold your chiropractic corrections.

Optimal Health can only be possible with an optimal nervous system.
Chiropractic works to optimize your brain-body connection through your nervous system.

Chiropractic is unlike most mainstream ‘medical’ methods in the aspect that we aim to correct the cause of the problem and not just the effects. Our doctors are versed in a variety of exam procedures to help identify the nature of one’s health problems. However, we take our treatment of the problem to the next level by looking to the nervous system and more. Imagine a simple puzzle with all the ‘right pieces’ but not the right orientation and placement. If you don’t look at the whole picture you’ll easily fall victim to blaming the pieces in some fashion … that’s where we come in. We help you put things back into proper alignment, thus allowing proper connection between the pieces and communication of the whole picture of health to you.

Our fundamental health principles are simple:

  1. We were all born with the power (Innate Intelligence) to be self-healing and self-regulating.
  2. This inner power speaks within our body through the nervous system.
  3. Interference with the communication through the nervous system causes problems that affect not only the health of the individual but also of those around them.
  4. Doctors of Chiropractic are specifically trained to identify, locate and correct the root cause of these interferences. Chiropractic is often associated with the spine because of its crucial role in protecting the nervous system. The nervous system is referred to by Gray’s Anatomy as the master control system of the human body, as it allows for communication between the brain to the body and the body back to the brain. Without proper communication, we won’t be able to see a proper picture of health in one’s body and often the cause of the communication breakdown is related to poor orientation and placement of the segments of our spine.
Our doctors specialize in identifying where these breakdowns occur and find that they can be categorized into three categories: Physical – Chemical – Emotional. Through the various techniques that we have acquired through our additional training, we help to create a custom care plan to help address all three of those areas in your life to help you back on your way to health. Sometimes we help pick up the pieces ~ Sometimes we help put them back in place ~ All of the time … We’re to help you express health! Connect with our doctors today to get a thorough evaluation of your health so that we can help you see a better picture of health for you.If you are looking for a specific technique or approach, please give us a call and we can help you find out if we would be a great fit for you.The revolutionary thing about chiropractic is … we try not to intervene with the bodies ability to heal itself by simply removing the interference and not adding more interference… thus allowing you to be better connected. Sometimes ~ Less is More!
An excerpt from the American Chiropractic Association:
“Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health.  Chiropractic care is used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches. Doctors of Chiropractic – often referred to as chiropractors or chiropractic physicians – practice a drug-free, hands-on approach to health care that includes patient examination, diagnosis, and treatment. Chiropractors have broad diagnostic skills and are also trained to recommend therapeutic and rehabilitative exercises, as well as to provide nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counseling.”
